The 2021 edition was the debut of the Jardins do Marquês Festival, in a particularly challenging context - Covid-19 Pandemic - marking the start of a new cultural proposal in the gardens of the Marquês de Pombal Palace.

This year the festival brought together artists like Seu Jorge and Daniel Jobim, Rufus Wainwright and Mayra Andrade, alongside names like Camané, António Zambujo, and Rui Veloso, in a lineup that proximity between artists and the public.

In a more intimate format, the programming reflected a strong connection to Portuguese and Brazilian expressive music, creating an environment where tradition and contemporary culture meet naturally.
